Karacide was born in 1981. From a small town in Mitchell, SD, Karacide was sold and used for algae control in storage separator systems. Algae would form in the nooks and crannies of the small parts in the system. Karacide worked so well, others began to use it for algae control.
Karacide has been sold in nearly every state in the nation and has been used by some of the largest organizations to ever exist, including the United States Air Force.
